First and foremost, an apology. I have not been in the best of health for some time, and when I am static in front of a computer I tend to cough and wheeze quite a lot. My current software magnifies any such actions tenfold, or at least it seems that way when I replay the video. I will try extra hard to avoid that in future.

This live hangout is primarily a discussion of false rape allegations in which race is or is made an issue. The really important fact to bear in mind is that whenever a woman makes a false allegation, it is never her fault, and if it can’t be blamed on the ubiquitous “mental health issues”, it is the fault of a man, all men, the mythical patriarchy, or a particular type of man, usually the white, Anglo-Saxon heterosexual, who can safely be branded the root of all evil.

A couple of corrections. I said the Scottsboro Boys case involved seven accused. There were actually nine. I also alluded to the airhead feminist academic Peggy McIntosh as Peggy Maxwell.

Obviously in a live hangout I could cover only a limited number of cases, but one I omitted deserves special mention, that of Samuel Legions.
