First, my apologies for coughing and spluttering, I had the beginnings of an infection and was a lot worse the following day. I should have spent all day in bed, but didn’t.
I advertised this hangout as false allegations against police officers but expanded it to men in uniform including detectives. Having said that, with the exception of Jack Rebolledo - whom I identified incorrectly as a police officer - I did not actually discuss false allegations against soldiers. Maybe I’ll do that in a future hangout. His ex-wife was meant to have gone to trial recently but the case has been put back so I elected not to discuss it in any depth.
When I said I wasn’t going to deal with cases in strict alphabetical order I meant of course chronological order.
The cases I cover include the falsely accused Christopher Scholz and Clay Williams as well as Kiwi police groupie Louise Nicholas, the recent conviction of Halina Khan, and the even more recent case of Sherita Dixon-Cole. The case of the falsely accused Peter Solley is too silly for words, yet it went to the jury.
