This pre-recorded hangout begins with a discussion of the recent conviction of Penelope Jackson for the murder of her husband. Murderess and false rape accuser Sally Challen wasn’t happy with this, neither was the most corrupt lawyer in Britain.
There follows brief discussions of sundry subjects:
Prince Andrew and the former Virginia Roberts
A police officer who had a relationship with a “domestic abuse victim” and paid the price for it
The Greville Janner case.
The alleged rape of Natalie Wood by Kirk Douglas.
Rape statistics from Oxfordshire.
Gina DeJesus and Cleveland Rape Crisis Center.
The Victoria Derbyshire programme.
The Nevitt sisters - I’d forgotten about these two crazies.
A police scandal involving allegations of evidence tampering.
False allegations against the wealthy Leon Black by a deranged model.
A psychiatric patient who claimed she was raped then she wasn’t then she was.
An allegation of rape by a supposedly mentally impaired woman.
A case from the American Navy involving, surprise, surprise, alcohol.
An apparent serial false rape accuser in India.
The latest drink spiking (needles) case from the nightclubbing scene.
A ludicrous story from VICE.

If “Chestnuts” sounds extremely simply that is because it is the first piece of music I ever composed, circa 1979. It was written on the acoustic guitar at Chestnut Avenue, Leeds. The jazz musician Xero Slingsby lived in the same house for a time. I found out a year or two ago that he had died young.
This recording was arranged and performed by Diana Bliss in March 2026. Better late than never!
A much earlier recording played (badly) by me on the guitar can be found here:

A slight clarification, Blenheim Square is the name the so-called developers have given this project. The shopping centre is actually called the Blenheim Centre. It also housed the Wilko store which closed sometime ago, and today I noticed the card shop CARD FACTORY had closed. Not that there is much call for cards nowadays.
The square outside the Blenheim Centre is called Empire Square.
