This short, pre-recorded hangout includes two clips from YouTube – part of an interview with Shawna Rivera and part of a press conference by the odious Gloria Allred.
Rivera had a hard life but it remains to be seen how much of her subsequent troubles can be blamed on Jeffrey Epstein. I contrast her well-remunerated servicing of Epstein with the indignities inflicted on the victims of the grooming gang scandal in England.
With regard to non-sexual obsession I discuss the case of vexatious litigant Paula Douglas and the sinister case of acid attacker Mary Konye.
The Gloria Allred clip concerns her obsession and one of the delusional women she used in the witch-hunt of Bill Cosby.
I finish with a few words about obsession and delusion.

If “Chestnuts” sounds extremely simply that is because it is the first piece of music I ever composed, circa 1979. It was written on the acoustic guitar at Chestnut Avenue, Leeds. The jazz musician Xero Slingsby lived in the same house for a time. I found out a year or two ago that he had died young.
This recording was arranged and performed by Diana Bliss in March 2026. Better late than never!

A slight clarification, Blenheim Square is the name the so-called developers have given this project. The shopping centre is actually called the Blenheim Centre. It also housed the Wilko store which closed sometime ago, and today I noticed the card shop CARD FACTORY had closed. Not that there is much call for cards nowadays.
The square outside the Blenheim Centre is called Empire Square.
