This video was originally uploaded to my Substack on November 16, 2024 with the title “The Idaho And Stockport Murders” although the title on the video itself was “The Idaho And Stockport Mass Murders”.
The view count was extremely disappointing but even so I was surprised no one pointed out the error. It has now been uploaded with the correct title “The Idaho And Southport MASS MURDERS” although I still refer to Stockport initially. To edit that would be too time consuming and I have other work to do at the moment.
I don’t understand how even anyone as dumb as I evidently am could have made such an error. The only explanation I can offer is that I have actually been to Stockport but have never been to Southport. Also that now they have both been convicted, Bryan Kohberger and Axel Rudakubana can rot for the rest of their miserable lives.

If “Chestnuts” sounds extremely simply that is because it is the first piece of music I ever composed, circa 1979. It was written on the acoustic guitar at Chestnut Avenue, Leeds. The jazz musician Xero Slingsby lived in the same house for a time. I found out a year or two ago that he had died young.
This recording was arranged and performed by Diana Bliss in March 2026. Better late than never!

A slight clarification, Blenheim Square is the name the so-called developers have given this project. The shopping centre is actually called the Blenheim Centre. It also housed the Wilko store which closed sometime ago, and today I noticed the card shop CARD FACTORY had closed. Not that there is much call for cards nowadays.
The square outside the Blenheim Centre is called Empire Square.
