In 1994, after being released early, Keith Tomlinson was given a ten year sentence for indecent assault and a concurrent five year sentence for false imprisonment. In 2005, he was given an eight year sentence for indecently assaulting a 9 year old girl.

If “Chestnuts” sounds extremely simply that is because it is the first piece of music I ever composed, circa 1979. It was written on the acoustic guitar at Chestnut Avenue, Leeds. The jazz musician Xero Slingsby lived in the same house for a time. I found out a year or two ago that he had died young.
This recording was arranged and performed by Diana Bliss in March 2026. Better late than never!

I say in this article that Eleanor de Freitas had already accused another man of rape; that appears to have been attempted rape, details are vague but this was the best Economou could find out during the course of his investigations. She was clearly a head case.
Stacey Hyde was another head case; she died as a result of bullimia aged just 32. Stay away from women like this, however physically attractive they may be.
