I made one tiny mistake in this video. Around 6 minutes 45, I said Neville Butler may have become an accomplice after the fact; I meant of course an accessory after the fact. Butler did not witness the murders nor have any idea that Maharaj had intended to commit them.

A few years ago I came across a website dedicated to the life and work of Paul McCartney. After noticing a small error in one entry, I contacted the webmaster. This led to further correspondence, and when he told me he would be in London, I had to meet him.
We met the first time in May 2022 and since then he has had cause to visit the capital several times. At our last meeting, on September 14, I recorded this interview. Links to both his websites can be found below. I take pride in playing a tiny part in assisting him with his mammoth task.
There are a number of websites devoted to McCartney and/or The Beatles, including an unrelated website similarly named in the UK, but for my money, this one is the best of all, including, if I dare say, McCartney’s own official website.

It is a walk across the bridge connecting platforms 1 & 2 with platforms 3 & 4. The former are the northbound platforms, for London; platform 4 is a bay road which appears not to have been used for many year, for trains reversing here for London.
Walk through the main station entrance past the ticket office to platforms 1 & 2. Platform 1 is also a bay road, but one in constant use, trains reversing here usually go to Crystal Palace and London Bridge.
Platform 3 is for Bromley South, Orpington and beyond.

If “Chestnuts” sounds extremely simply that is because it is the first piece of music I ever composed, circa 1979. It was written on the acoustic guitar at Chestnut Avenue, Leeds. The jazz musician Xero Slingsby lived in the same house for a time. I found out a year or two ago that he had died young.
This recording was arranged and performed by Diana Bliss in March 2026. Better late than never!

A slight clarification, Blenheim Square is the name the so-called developers have given this project. The shopping centre is actually called the Blenheim Centre. It also housed the Wilko store which closed sometime ago, and today I noticed the card shop CARD FACTORY had closed. Not that there is much call for cards nowadays.
The square outside the Blenheim Centre is called Empire Square.
